Welcome to Decker and Sons Insurance, one of Addison’s oldest family owned businesses. Founded in 1897 by a local banker by the name of Bowen, our great Aunt Flaude Cleveland, who one day would also find herself in the banking industry, purchased the agency from Mr. Bowen in 1900 and we are proud to have four generations continue the tradition of serving local families for all of their insurance needs.

 

As testimony to the family’s longevity in the insurance industry, a 75 year service plaque was presented to the agency in the Spring of 2005 by Auto-Owners Insurance Company of Lansing, Michigan. Decker & Sons Insurance Agency has also partnered with Hastings Mutual Insurance Company for over 50 years.

 

During the past thirty years, the agency has been fortunate to open two more locations to better serve the Somerset Center and Onsted communities as well as their surrounding areas.

 

Decker and Sons maintains a very “traditional” family style of dependable service to the local communities. We strive to provide friendly service and prompt handling of your claims should the need arise. As our forefathers have done before us, we at Decker and Sons will remain committed to our clients, doing all that we can to gain your business, confidence and respect.
